Minus

He is a graphic designer, web designer, flash programmer, animator, emcee, and a graffiti artist. Charles "Minus" is gifted in the arts as he believes it to be a sense of expression. By being gifted in graffiti he feels that he has an advantage and background that some people do not have. In contrary to all other individuals interviewed, Charles does not see graffiti as an element or part of Hip Hop. Graffiti comes from the streets and its real essence is “negative.”  However, because there is “no right or wrong” in art, the art of graffiti can be converted into a positive thing if used to promote positive images or messages. At Catalyst, Charles began as an emcee but is eclectic with his artistic gifted abilities and hard working skills to expand himself in the branches of mainstream art within the use of technology and not just spray cans.
